The Company acknowledges the continued anticipation, anxiety and frustration surrounding the formal DaaP buyer announcement.
We wish to reassure shareholders that the Company have fulfilled all of its obligations in this process and have disclosed as much information about the DaaP buyer as is legally permissible under the binding non-disclosure agreements. As previously stated: “The complexities involved in this process have made aligning the timelines particularly challenging, especially as the DaaP buyer’s monitoring platform incorporates several listed securities within its ecosystem.”
While the DaaP buyer had previously advised that they intended to make a formal announcement today, we must emphasise that the timing of this communication remains entirely outside the Company’s control. We are now at the ‘finish line’, all necessary steps on our part have been completed. However, the formal announcement will be made at the sole discretion of the DaaP buyer, in accordance with their internal processes and scheduling.
Although the DaaP and Licensing transactions are separate and contractually independent, the DaaP buyer’s announcement acts as the trigger for licence notifications. We understand the nuances of this timeline may have caused some confusion, but notifications can only commence once the announcement has been made.
The Company recognises that this process has tested the patience of many. We remain focused on delivering a definitive, successful resolution and are confident that the DaaP buyer’s formal announcement is imminent.
